Top Beach Cities San Diego County Hotel Reviews
The Wayfarer San Diego
10/10 Excellent
"Great location and wonderful staff. Taylor I believe her name was at the front desk was so helpful and made our stay even better !"
Heritage Inn San Diego
8/10 Good
"The hotel is walking distance to many stores and restaurants, plus the Pechanga arena. It would be nice if the rooms had an extra table to put belongings on, plus a clothes rack to hang clothes. Other than that, it was nice and will return."
Bay Club Hotel & Marina
10/10 Excellent
"I wish they had a bigger pool"
San Diego Mission Bay Resort
8/10 Good
"Overall we had a great stay cause the location was convenient to Sea World and zoo. Lots of time spent in the pool. Loved that we could order food poolside. Our server, Daniel, was excellent. We were also close to good dining options within 5-10min drive. However, our room was not so great. Literally a layer of dust on TV media stand that we could see as soon we entered the room cause it’s black and the sun was hitting it at that hour. Bathroom sink and counter was also dusty/dirty. So I spent the first 15 minutes in the room wiping things down before we could settle in. All of the common areas of the property are maintained well and look very welcoming but the pool cleanliness needs improvement! The kiddy pool was disgusting, knots of hair balls along the splash deck where you enter, and it smelled like piss - not exaggerating. I got my kid out of there ASAP. People obviously were not adhering to the swim diaper rules hotel had posted up beside it. I know cause I saw babies in there without diapers. On the left side of the main pool by the steps was always murky with clouds of sunscreen, hair, and bugs. I’m guessing they only clean the pool once a day by the looks of it. One major thing to point out is they offer resort day passes so the pool becomes a $hit$how, which sucks for hotel guests who are paying for full accommodations to have to deal with day rate riff raff. All of the staff we encountered were lovely. Would we stay again? Not if a better option opened."
Comfort Inn Sea World Area

"It would be good to have more options for breakfast and additional fruits. It would also be good if there is some transit options from the hotel to the airport or the transit / city center."
GreenTree Inn San Diego Mission Bay
10/10 Excellent
"I really njoyed my stay the room was fresh and clean very convenient didn’t have to drive far to get to places Wish they had more continental breakfast options like muffins and danishes but over all the food was fresh and hot that’s a plus for me Will most definitely stay there again my next trip to San Diego"
The Dana on Mission Bay
10/10 Excellent
"Front desk staff were lovely. I’m a returning customer and I will most definitely be returning again! The facilities, rooms, in room coffee, shower pressure, mattress and pillows were wonderful! The pool is saltwater and (I believe) heated. It was hot so I’m not 100 percent sure. It really was a comfortable and restful stay."
Humphreys Half Moon Inn

"Very lush grounds.... jungle pretty much! Room was pretty good size though the bathroom was a bit dated. I will visit again 🌴😎"
Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"I had a great experience at this beautiful property. The room decor and interior design are stunning. The grounds are perfectly maintained. The staff is very attentive, helpful and responsive. The butterfly and horse touches throughout were really nice for me personally as I love both. Very charming place stay if you want tranquility and a perfect location in La Jolla."
