"We loved every inch of Sweetwater Cottage. The neighborhood amenities are very nice and easy to access. Bullfrogs sang us to sleep. Spotless and comfortable! Super quiet neighborhood. Nothing is closer than Oriental, so plan your trip accordingly. We ate at Brantley’s, Barcos, and Toucan Bar and Grill. All were good. We took the ferry from Minnesott Beach and spent a day in Morehead/Beaufort-great day trip. We left relaxed and rested. Highly recommend. My only criticism of the trip? It’s...

"Our family enjoyed our visit to the Pamlico River while attending ECU graduation activities. There was plenty of room for 9 adults to spread out. The house was incredibly clean too. If any questions come up the owner was quick to respond and hospitable. I would absolutely recommend considering friends and family to stay at this beautiful house on the water."

House was great and both owner and property manager were attentive. Beds were not as firm as we would like but spacious and clean. Quiet area and great surroundings! "Great Rental! Accurate description with great sunset views and easy water access. Beds and furniture were comfortable, which isn't always the case!! Really nice new dock with kayak access. Comments note that the road into the property is dirt which was a check in the plus column for this trip. The road is well maintained even if not paved. Hope to return again!"

"Very accommodating cabin. Had everything we needed to enjoy a week long stay. The pool was a regular activity for us as well as fishing in the Neuse. We rode the ferry several days to get to Atlantic beach- not a bad trip at all and the ferry ride was always enjoyable. The beds are super comfy too. We loved it!"

"The area is very rural. Great get away from the hustle and bustle. The ferry ride to Ocean Isle was great. The town of Oriental is a quaint nice little town. We enjoyed the Brewery and talking to the locals!"

"Came for my son’s wedding and stayed 4 nights. Was clean and bright. Beds were nice and soft. Neighborhood was good and quiet. We loved it and will stay again on our next visit. "

"The property is in a really great area. The home itself is a great place to stay for a vacation, with many beds and enough rooms. However, the bathrooms and kitchen seemed not well maintained. While we did not need to use the kitchen, we were not keen to use the Bathroom for a shower since we didnt like it . Overall good stay, except clenliness of the place."
