"We absolutely loved our stay at The Hideout Cabin. Just 10 minutes from the ferry, yet it feels like a world away—remote, peaceful, and surrounded by breathtaking ocean views. The property itself is stunning. A perfect winter escape, with a cozy fireplace inside and a fire pit outside that sets the mood beautifully. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, with a six-burner cooktop and a large oven—ideal for cooking up a feast. The bedrooms are generous in size and offer amazing views. It’s blissfully quiet—waking up to the sound of birds instead of traffic was such a treat for city dwellers like us. The outdoor area is perfect for breakfast or a relaxed meal while taking in the beauty of the bay. At night, the sky puts on a dazzling show of stars, and the area is teeming with wildlife—it truly feels like you’re in a private slice of nature. A special mention to Sarah, the property manager, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. Communication was flawless, with detailed check-in information provided in advance. This place is a true gem. We only stayed two nights, but it wasn’t nearly enough—we could have easily stayed longer to truly unwind and soak in the serenity. Highly, highly recommended!"

"A glorious spot on Bruny overlooking D'Entrecasteaux Channel. Fabulous for sunset. The Bruny Lodge was perfect for our two night stay. Pub is close by for great meals. The accommodation was clean and very quiet. Would highly recommend "

"The house is perfect for couples or large groups, with a well stocked kitchen, heaps of toiletries, comfy lounge chairs and a huge dining table. The two patios offer relaxed dining or sipping wine, both with views. This is the first time we have taken our deaf cattle dog on holidays, and it was perfect for him (as advertised). The back yard was securely fenced, and we could run him up and down the beach and indulge his passion for swimming. At night the only noise was the waves... sublime. The hostess has thought of everything. Many thanks."

"Absolutely wonderful place full of beach vibes and we had a great paella cook off, loved the jigsaws and cosy fire. Would very happily stay again - and we probably will! A perfect house with everything we possibly needed. "

"We loved staying here with a deck looking out to the sea.Comfortable beds and all the comforts of home with local wildlife as an added attraction. Will miss the little wallabies that greeted us when we arrived.The driveway was a bit of a challenge for our hire car, but everything else was fantastic."
