"Great location walking out onto the beach front with dining, shopping & groceries in both directions. You are on the heart of the main street so everything in the area is walkable. I felt incredibly safe and we had the best beach views. The owner is lovely & friendly, speaking great English which was helpful! Room was a very generous size however we had a power outage both days (not the propertys fault, the entire street was out). Highly reccomend, very satisfied!! "

"We had an amazing 10 day visit to Roatan. The Bamboo Apartment and The Sanctuary property were fantastic!! The apartment was clean, bright with a full kitchen the. "The building was a 3 story wooden structure. We stayed on the 3rd floor, unit #6. 1. There were no working smoke detectors. 2. No fire extinguishers. 3. No sprinkler system. 4. Only one exit from the 3rd floor, a set of stairs at the opposite end of the building. If a fire was in that area- you had no way out. The unit had everything for a comfortable stay."

"Such a lovely place to stay. Decor and cleanliness were great. Complimentary coffee and tea daily was a nice touch. Rides were needed to get everywhere but our hired driver was great. Sea Cat restaurant was not as good as the other restaurants down the strip but The Drop and Vos Café (on property), made up for it. "
