"Overpaid terribly to stay in this glorified hostel. Small bed, dirty, noisy, no amenities, hot rooms. Avoid this property if you can. I got dropped off here by my taxi driver and he actually laughed out loud when I told him I stayed her. "Good luck" he said."

"Dear Expedia Customer Relations, I am writing to formally complain about Expedia reservation booked for my recent vacation on Jun 4-6,2026. Novotel Suites Hannover, Germany. Based on the information, photographs and descriptions on Expedia’s website, I reasonably expected high-quality accommodation. Unfortunately, the property is significantly misrepresented, and I felt misled as a customer. • The hotel is located in a drug-tolerance, super dirty area that felt unsafe. This fact is omitted on the webpage. • The walk to the hotel from the station passes through urinals, addicts and constant police activity. • The property is outdated, with aging facilities and furnishings. • There is a very busy and loud bus station right in front of the lobby that operates through the night. As a traveler, I rely on Expedia to provide accurate and transparent information when making purchasing decisions. Had the property’s true condition and surrounding area been accurately represented, I would not have selected this hotel. This hotel should not be even listed on Expedia. Where is the vetting process / quality control of the properties you publish and sell? I respectfully request that Expedia review this booking and provide appropriate compensation for the significant discrepancies. Compensation in form of a full refund or travel credit. I have pictures to prove the above statements."

"Chain hotel. Relatively new. Room perfectly adequate size for this level of hotel. Only one person at Reception, but it was a Sunday. We did not have to wait but saw a queue later. Our room only had towels for one (we were a couple) which was a bit irritating. Car park is a public car park with an entry into the hotel. It is, as others have said, crazily expensive - €30 + per night. Finding the hotel was tricky as satnav told me I had arrived at the car park, which shares the address. One side of the hotel has scaffolding and curtain, which makes it difficult to spot. The thing that really surprised us was the restaurant. We had low expectations and the limited menu reduced them further. But we had driven from England and were too tired to go out looking for a restaurant. At first we were the only clients and then another couple arrived. I order the smashed burger and my wife ordered beef cheeks. Both dishes were excellent. Well cooked, tasty and well-presented. The server was very friendly as well. Quite amazing, in a good way!"
