"The road to the hotel which was signposted was having work on it so was blocked ...there was a 4 mile diversion to it which was poorly signposted... The hotel is the hills and looks ok on arrival.... but sadly the rest f it was just tired The lady checking us in was very helpful and nice ...but the hotel was like stepping back to the late 70's.. It was tired....needed painting and upgrading The rooms were dated beyond belief ....with poor wiring ...the bathroom was poor ...with a shower in...

"The price of the room booked online is 10% higher than the labelled price in the hotel reception; hotel is reasonable ok for a farm hotel, but charging 22euro/pp breakfast is over pricing; internet doesn’t work in this place already for a few days, they haven’t noticed us ahead they can’t take credit card , but only tell us while we are checking out, we have to spent another hour to find a ATM and pay them in cash"

"This hotel is a great option for an overnight visit to Colmar. The room was basic but clean and spacious and easily walkable to central Colmar. The room was well appointed and had outdoor space. Easily accommodated 4 people. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful and well organized."

The location was great for being able to walk to most attractions. The overall experience was excellent and I would stay there again in a heartbeat."

"Checkin was a disaster compounded by unnecessary surliness and incompetence. They demand a 24 hour pre check in online and I did that noting that I would stop by at 1 pm to drop bags and avail myself of their luggage storage option. I received an email back thanking me for pre-check in. I showed up at 3 pm and there was a family from Montreal also looking to check in early. The phone didn’t pick up then a random guy came and accosted us for being early and I explained I spelled it out in the pre check in. He said to give him 5 minutes. That turned into fifteen minutes and then some other guy showed up and accosted us again and shut the door and left us out on the street in the hot weather. I found his language to be rude and abrasive as did the Montreal family. Finally some hotel guests took pity on us and let us in and showed us where the luggage storage was and we went to get some water nearby (why that was so difficult for the hotel staff Ill never know). I don’t know why they bother with the pre-registration kabuki. Then my room didn’t have a frying pan but there was a whisk and a spatula. After three days I gave up asking. It’s unfortunate because it’s a nicely renovated old building in a convenient spot though it was interesting that they have a placard at the front desk advising guests not to argue with staff so somehow the surliness is built into the hospitality illusion they offer. It was like a surly Fawlty Towers Totally uncalled for. C’est dommage."
