"An old property which must cost a fortune to maintain. Clearly they are working their way around and the rooms were excellent and good value. Can’t comment on rest as it was just a bed we needed for a family party. Will stay again"

"The hotel was very comfortable, and its location near the city center made it easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 for one reason. Our room was advertised as a nice window room, but the window looked into a dirty structure with barbed wire, inside the building, overlooking the lounge. I kept the curtains closed the whole stay because looking out gave me the major ick. I would suggest covering those windows with an opaque film that still lets light through, so guests don't have to see the garbage right outside."
