"My second visit to this spectacular place! There are a very few, very special hotels out there -almost like people - with their own charm and character and personality. The Saint Kate is your fabulous, gorgeous, kind, wildly-creative friend with amazing style and a heart-felt smile for everyone, who manages to make you feel special just by proximity. Thanks again, SK, for a memorable visit, outrageous art, a delightful room, divinely unique detail, crazy comfy bed, fantastic lounge music and delicious food. A special shout out to Clay, the truly gracious and hospitable day bartender whose warmth, welcome and insights on the city absolutely made our stay. What a great representation of your brand you have in him! Thanks also to Grace and the super-on-top-of-everything front desk (Madelyn, Ava, Theo and team) for a superlative stay. "My small family of 3 stayed in this lovely house for 6 nights in July. We were in Milwaukee so my son could compete in Fencing Nationals, which were held at the Baird Center all week. This was the perfect home base for us to drive 10 minutes back to downtown Milwaukee and back every day. The house was so charming in its arts and crafts decor, throwback kitchen with all the modern amenities except a dishwasher (we didn’t miss it). We truly felt like we were at home with everything that we could possibly need to make any meal or to feel comfortable sleeping/lounging/eating. Also, it was hot and humid outside, but the AC kept us cool. Robin was also an excellent host who responded quickly to communications and helped us out when we needed it. I had forgotten that the listing requests that we notify the host if we were planning on using the washer and dryer, which are in the basement and is locked if visitors do not need it. Robin accommodated us quickly while we were out and I was surprised to find that every kind of laundry cleaning product that I could think of needing was provided. This was SO helpful, as my son’s fencing clothes got so sweaty every day. (2) My son left behind something small but important. Robin found it before we even missed it and notified us immediately. We were catching a flight, so she very kindly went through the trouble of shipping it to us. We are so grateful. Robin and her home are 10/10!!"
