"Sunday dinner was excellent, fish perfectly cooked and well presented, chicken tender and succulent with veg and a huge Yorkshire pudding. Desserts sumptuos, all washef down with decent Pinot and Armagnac. Penthouse accomidation is worth the premium for glorious views east and west, space, kingsize bed and bathrooms as well as formal dining space.
Service from each and all staff was impeccable."

"Staff are welcomjng and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Our room was warm, comfortable and well appointed. The view from our room would have been stunning had it not been for rain and mist. Views of Isle of Wight and Hurst Castle. . . . Plenty of coffee, tea etc. Shower room was clean and bright, with big soft towels galore. Food in the restaurant was delicious and service great. We have already booked to go back later in the year!"

"Last minute trip, I found a really good deal on hotels.com and that pushed me to go. I am glad I did so. :)
The hotel was easy to find and short walk distance from the train/bus station.
It was also close to the sea (top of the cliff).
In the price was included also leisure centre - i.e. sauna, gym, indoor pool, etc. I didn't use it.
On the the site was also a big bar with plenty of seating available.
The hotel is really big, it was easy to get lost. :D
I booked only a single room and it was big enough - the bed was fine, there was also a desk, kettle & tea/coffee, TV, bathroom was big enough as well - shower worked well, sink could be bigger. ;)
I am glad it was not really hot day because early sun, too much light and heat woke me up early. The window could be bigger, but thanks God there was a fan available.:)
I was happy with my stay at Suncliff Hotel and I would stay again. Thank you. :) "

"It’s a 3 star hotel that doesn’t pretend to be anything other. It’s clean. The food is good and the staff are very helpful. Despite the fact that the hotel was full the room was very quiet and we had a good nights sleep. It was really hot outside and the hotel staff provided us with a fan. Great place to stay"

"We enjoyed a nice few days in this peaceful hotel which had everything we needed. We particularly chose this hotel for its close proximity to the chair lift down the cliff to the beach ,giving a flat walkway along the beach and then back up using the lift.. Due to a landslip this lift was out of action which severely curtailed our access to the main part of Bournemouth. Due to mobility issues it was necessary to take a taxi to and from the hotel. Sadly this means we would not book this hotel again."

"We arrived in Southampton not expecting to stay the night but, after realising we did, walked around hostels but all were no vacancy. This hotel was available and affordable for a last minute decision. Furthermore, we arrived at the hotel 10 minutes after booking online and, a very friendly receptionist greeted us, we had a quick joke and he gave us our room keys right away.
The set up of the room was perfect for us, a double bed with a single bunk bed on top, all with personal lights. The hotel is said to offer toasties 24/7 however I didn't explore this.
The rooms are nice with eco-friendly products as stated and, when we were a bit late for checkout and our room key stop working, the Maid staff there were very kind and understanding, quickly letting us in to double check we had all of our items.
Absolutely a happy little hotel close to all amenities, I'd stay again!"

"Location Location Location!!
Just few minutes to walk to the Bournemouth Pier and beach.
Room wasn't the cleanest, but very good just to sleep, pack and go as price for 1 night was incredibly low at this location ."
