In the immediate vicinity are various water sports and recreational opportunities, such as an open-air theater. The pre-Pomeranian town of Barth, on the southern shore of the Baltic Sea bodden of the same name, is the gateway to the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula.



The old town of Barth with the Gothic St. Mary's Church, its restored town houses, the historic Dammtor and the small shopping mile, which can be reached on foot from the vacation apartment, invites you to an eventful stroll. Possible day trips to the sunny beaches of Fischland, Darß and Zingst, to the amber town of Ribnitz-Damgarten or the Hanseatic city of Stralsund expand the repertoire of activities. It is also not far to the island of Rügen with its sunny beaches or to the Hanseatic city of Rostock with its various sights and attractions. A bicycle shed for storing bicycles is available.
