"The fact that dogs are allowed was crucial for us. A water and food bowl set and a dog bed had been placed in the room before we arr. Staff members were very helpful and pleasant. All front desk staff could speak English, which made things much easier for us, as we just moved to Vigo and know little Spanish. The central location in Vigo put all services we wanted within an easy walking distance."

"There was no AC in the room, and the fan was very noisy. Other than this, it was ideal for late-night arrivals at the airport, as it was just a 10min walk."

"Difficult to grade as we arrived quite late and left early. The issue we had was that messages were not being delivered regarding check-in from the hotel. There is a note on the Expedia system that says "staff may not be available and check-in codes will be provided". We never received such codes and as such panicked calls were needed by us to Expedia on the day of arrival. They couldn't get in touch with anyone here and we were left wondering what might happen. Finally we spoke to someone who assured us someone would be there to help when we arrived at around 8pm. From then on it was fine, although the door key didn't work initially. Staff that greeted us were pleasant."

"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Hesperia during our first trip to mainland Spain, where we were attending a wedding in the region. Before check-in, we were offered a great-value upgrade to a terrace room, and it exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised to have the entire corner terrace to ourselves, with beautiful mountain views. It was definitely worth the upgrade! The hotel was easy to find, and there were plenty of great brunch spots within walking distance. We also appreciated the 24/7 vending and hot drinks machines in the lobby, which were really handy for snacks and drinks. Our room was cleaned daily, with the bed made and amenities restocked each day. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, particularly when explaining how the laundry service worked. The only slight disappointment was the laundry service. My partner’s suit jacket was considered too delicate to wash or press, so it wasn’t done, although we weren’t charged for it, which was appreciated. My partner’s shirt was pressed and charged for, but unfortunately it still had some noticeable creases afterwards. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend Hotel Hesperia. If you have the chance, the terrace room upgrade is absolutely worth it!"

"Hotel was was right at the port so easy walking to bars and restaurants, fantastic view from the breakfast room on the 7th floor and breakfast was good, there’s a limited number of parking places and some are on the small side so arrive early if you want to park at the hotel, there are other parking garages around the area though."
