"My partner and I booked this property however when we arrived at 7pm, there was a large gate blocking the entrance and no one was there. We tried and tried to call and message the property and never received a response. La Fortuna is somewhat out in the country without many on the spot lodging options. It took us until 945 pm before we were able to get a far from desirable accommodations. We were preparing to sleep in our car by that time. We have yet to receive a refund or response. There...

"The property is located on the edge of town so was quiet yet convenient to all activities. The park-like yard was bordered by a steam and drew in birds of every color. A ripened bunch of bananas in the tree kept them busy for days. Much to our delight we even spotted a sloth!
