"We loved this condo. Very safe and beautiful. The pool was pleasant with beautiful views. The walk to the beach is a lot of stairs but wasn’t a problem for any of my kids and we saw wildlife on the stairs including huge iguanas, frogs, butterflies, crabs, and even a raccoon looking animal. The host Pedro was easy to communicate with and we even booked an amazing fishing trip with him. I’d only suggest for the host to have more blankets in the condo and to supply some basic spices ie...

"Comfy, cozy, private in a beautiful setting where you can have your morning coffee while looking at the Bay of Nicoya or the surrounding pastoral setting: That's Bella Vivace! It's clean, spacious, well equipped, and the hosts are very accommodating. Everything you need is here for a enjoyable Costa Rican vacation. "Vista Vivace was a perfect place to stay in the Central Valley! The owners, Nancy and Andy, are lovely, generous people and welcomed us to to their home. The one bedroom was perfect for a couple with the living space above the bedroom. The full wall of windows plus an outdoor patio allowed full enjoyment of the view and sunset. "This cozy little apt did the trick, my daughter and I enjoyed the town, ziplines and canopy tour here. Used a medical clinic (got bit by something in the forrest and it swelled up and blistered) and the folks were nice, pharmacy was good. Really enjoyed our stay here and Clari was super helpful with everything we needed, she lives right next door!"

"The Rancho de Lelo was AMAZING! When we arrived, Beatriz was so kind to us and very helpful. She helped us planning activities and she recommended restaurants. It was probably the best welcome that we ever experienced at a hotel! The Rancho is located on a great property. It's beautiful, peaceful and very quiet! It's a family-owned hotel. They even have their own coffee plantation. The rooms are private "cabanas", so cabin style. The breakfast is delicious. The pool has nice clean natural water (no chlorine). There are very friendly dogs on the property and they were my son's trip highlight in Monteverde! The Rancho is located about 25 min from Santa Elena, the nearest town. The views from the town to the Rancho are absolutely stunning!"

Lovely place

"Henry was a terrific host. He gave us lots of advice on restaurants and attractions nearby and he responded quickly to any questions we had. The house was nicely situated on the ocean - we sat under the veranda watching the waves roll in, the lightning strike and the ships go by. There was everything we needed in the house. It was a bit out of the way - quite far from Monteverde for example. We rented a car and would have been lost without it.We missed the sunsets because of the weather so will have to come back again!"
