"We had a wonderful stay at Tivoli Carvoeiro and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Algarve. The property is beautiful, with breathtaking views, outstanding staff, and an excellent breakfast each morning. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The only minor disappointment was that we paid extra for a higher-category room with a better view, but the view wasn't quite what we expected. "We were given the wrong room (we booked a 2 bedroom and they gave us a 1 bedroom) initially! They didn't seem very apologetic about it. The room we were given had a VERY dated kitchen - yellow laminate cabinets that were chipped. This did NOT match the pictures on Expedia or the resort website. Also the couch was very sad and worn out (unlike the cute couch in the pictures). On a positive note, the grounds were beautiful and nicely maintained. And the food at the restaurants was delicious!"
