A little concerned with the drive to the facility. If car broke down, there was a safety concern because we didn't speak Portuguese. "
"Dear travelers, the hotel that we visit was terrible, the photos dont was the same of the watsapp chat, the room was small, porder, and the bathroom, have a bad shower, doesnt have any type of storages. Too have the point that minibar, was rusty. The last point is the pool, that was dirty, hot and is too small. The good points, is that was so close to the beach, and the air conditioning was good. But this dont hide the fact that the hotel is totally bad."

I didn’t like the small unlit sign at the road, the dirty driveway is in poor conditions, no visibility on top of the hill plus big potholes, the property sits at a steep angle to the ocean requiring big steps stairs to access the room or the pool. "

"A pousada é bem localizada, fácil para acessar as praias e a cidade. A pousada se resume a alguns quartos construídos no segundo andar de uma edificação que é uma sorveteria. O quarto era pequeno, apertado, pois além de uma cama de casal o quarto tinha uma cama de solteiro que impedia completamente qualquer movimentação no quarto. "What an amazing place! So cute, the private courtyard area keeps it quiet, but it is only a short walk to the historic center. The staff is friendly (even though I don't speak Portuguese!), the wifi is pretty fast, and breakfast is excellent. I spend 4 days here and I wish it was longer!"
"The room was good enough, however there was mold on the walls. The host was amazing and he helped me arranged everything, the breakfast was very good as well.
However the location is about 25 minutes taxi driver from the historic center which will cost you a $20 taxi. And therefore you will have to pay that every time you want to come into the marina and take a tour. And then going back as well. The area where the posada is located is not very busy and it can feel a bit scary if you want to walk by yourself. The posada concept is great, and the host is also great, however if you want to do tours from the marina and spend time at the historic center of Paraty, you should book a posada within at least 10 minutes drive from the History center and the marina. The wifi worked good, the hosts and breakfast was really good, but please do know that you can not walk to the historic center and the marina or PAraty, you will need to pay $20 or more taxi to get there. "
"We had a lovely stay at Pousada Recanto. The staff are helpful and the breakfast was impressive, a full spread of eggs, fruit and pastries. It’s about a five minute walk to the beach and a 15 to 20 minute walk into the historic center. Rustic and friendly. "
