I booked and PAID through Hotels.com I have the confirmed booking and the receipt. When we arrived, reception said they did not have a booking. They said this had happened before with Expedia bookings. So, I had to reserve another room and PAY AGAIN. Now, neither the accommodation, nor Hotels.com/Expedia will accept any responsibility and neither will agree to refund the duplicate payment. Both blame the other. I strongly suggest that you do not book this place through a booking site. In fact, if they don't sort the problem out with Expedia and keep double charging the patron, you might want to reconsider staying here at all.
