My original room was on the second floor and despite being full the lady at the front desk was able to switch me into a first floor room. She also offered to carry my luggage and told me the best restaurants, bars, and special places to go."

"We have been visiting Duluth and the North Shore for about 20 years and this stay was wonderful. It was perfect for my family of 4. We had our own rooms and a separate living room, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms. It was like your own home away from home. The property itself was quiet (except for the lawn mower at 8 a.m. one morning). It was a nice stay away from the busyness of town, but a short, beautiful drive to the attractions. Would definitely recommend! "

"Beautiful property "

"This was a wonderful location for our annual sister's retreat! The lake provided beautiful views and kept the anglers happy feeding the fish. We visited the county fair, Moose Lake State Park and the fire museum. The road leading to the house was ideal for agate hunting and we even saw deer early in the morning! The ping-pong table gave us some exercise between meals, which were easy to prepare in the well laid out kitchen. We didn't have time to use the lovely fire pit but it was stocked with wood and ready to enjoy. This is a well maintained property and we highly recommend it to others."
