Redwings Lodge Sawtry

Redwings Lodge Sawtry

8/10 Good
"All was good until I had someone next door on the last night with there tv on all night and on the phone. Very thin walls. Maybe some restriction needed for noise? I heard some are Nightshift campers so surely that should be managed to keep each seperate? Sorry, apart from that was all good 👍"

The Old Pheasant Hotel

The Old Pheasant Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"My wife and I have stayed here on several occasions in recent years and have been treated well and at a fair price. Our room including bathroom was, as ever, a reasonable size and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good and served with good humour by the owner. The hotel is well-positioned for travel in the area and I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone."

The Talbot Hotel, Oundle, Northamptonshire

The Talbot Hotel, Oundle, Northamptonshire

10/10 Excellent
"Receptionists were very welcoming, informative and friendly. We found all staff to be friendly and helpful. The bar staff worked extremely hard, and dealt with the volume of customers in a friendly, respectful and professional manner. Breakfast and service were very good, staff friendly and helpful. My only very small grip would be the quality of the black pudding, very poor and too thin to be called ‘black pudding’. I was very disappointed, as it’s my favourite breakfast item. Delighted with our room, very clean, well presented, lovely decor, everything worked really well, we especially enjoyed the powerful shower. We would definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend this hotel to all our family and friends. Thank you for helping in making our stay a memorable one with our very dear friends. "Great place to stay, good breakfast only would have liked mushrooms with my fry up. There was a mug missing from the room, so my husband had to watch me drink my cup of tea!"

Cley Hall Hotel

Cley Hall Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"I liked this hotel in every way but the most outstanding thing was the view from the diningroom of a really lovely garden with mature trees, shrubs etc. As the whole of the wall was glass, the view was probably the most spectacular I'd ever seen from a hotel dining room."

Redwings Lodge Uppingham

Redwings Lodge Uppingham

8/10 Good
"Very friendly welcome and very approachable and helpful. Room was good size. Bed and bedding fine. Breakfast simple but adequate. It needed topping up quicker though. Parking spaces got filled up quickly but you can park on the grass out front. Main gripe was bathroom which needed updating as it was very mouldy."
