The location was quiet, serene and peaceful with the majestic Allegany river at your doorstep surrounded by a beautiful mountain forest as its background. "My son and i were looking for a midpoint in a curvy Pensylvania route. Parker,PA was interesting. Its a little paddle stop on the Allegheny River. The little house is just sown river of town. Maker sure to ask about kayaks and bikes ahead of time, or bring your own i guess. Sweet little cottage. Private enough for good conversation."

"If you want peace and quiet with nobody around, then this is the place for you. The facilities in the house are great, but the grounds are great, too. Both the front and the back offer privacy, with a fire ring out back. It is a very short drive to Lake Wilhelm, making this property a nice base of operations if you are into flat water kayaking, fishing, etc. "

"Overall, this is a comfortable home to stay in. Sitting on the front porch is delightful, the river is peaceful, a visit from the kitty cat next-door welcomed. Everyone agreed the house was great and location was perfect for a trip down the river. House always has everything we need to cook and stay comfortably. OARS made the kayak/SUP trip super simple and we had a great stay."

"This property was absolutely beautiful and such relaxing experience. Our group was there for a week and we didn’t want to leave. Everything we needed (stores, activities, etc.) was within a very reasonable driving distance so we never had to go far for anything. The house was spotless when we arrived and had all the essential things we needed (first aid, bedding, toiletries, cooking essentials, etc.).
