"Lovely cottage with living space upstairs so you can enjoy views over the valley. Cottage is kept well and wouldn’t consider it ‘tired’ as some reviews indicate. "The property is very clean comfortable and well equipped. The bed and sofa are very comfortable. The owner is very approachable and helpful if you have any problems (which we didn't) but not intrusive. There are lots of things to do within an easy drive of the property. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay and would defiantly go back again."

"The property has been beautifully furnished and is very charming. It’s handy for the town centre and the Brewery Arts Centre. We’d recommend the Moon restaurant and The Fell bar on Lowther Street. Parking is not convenient or available and we were disappointed that the parking permit we were promised was not available when we arrived.
