"We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Başka! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, offering breathtaking views and easy access to everything we wanted to explore. The food was outstanding—every meal was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. We truly looked forward to dining each day. What made our experience even more special was the incredible staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. The stunning views, exceptional service, and wonderful atmosphere created an unforgettable vacation for us. We had such an amazing time and made beautiful memories that we will cherish forever. We highly recommend Hotel Başka to anyone looking for a relaxing and exceptional getaway. We can’t wait to return!"

"The service of this hotel was the worst we have ever experienced, most things were either sold out or they wouldn’t even come to serve you, despite of multiple requests and complaints nothing was done. The breakfast was horrible, hardly any choices and then to top it cold food was served. Never been more disappointed with a hotel. They shouldn’t have a five star as it’s just not a five star service or amenities for a hotel. I’d give them a zero if I could."

"When we arrived the receptionist was very nice and helped us with our luggages and guided us to our room I requested a room with two beds but they couldn't afford it because the hotel was full which was ok. We had dinner at the hotel that day it was delicious but it took a long time to arrive so the waiter kept apologizing about that and gave us water and tea as a gesture to apologize. The room was clear and has an amazing view the only problem was the last day because we requested a drop to the airport the new guys at the reception said it was arranged then in the last minute he said it wasn't avant we had to take a normal taxi to the airport but overall we had a nice stay there."

"The hotel could use some maintenance. The sliding door wouldn’t lock until lubed. Peeling paint and varnished doors and shutters. Paint and varnish flakes that haven’t been swept up near these areas. Dinner was horrible. Awful service, food that was finally served was not per the menu. A wonderful breakfast buffet with cold eggs and no coffee. I wouldn’t return."

"The Salmakis Resort & Spa was an enticing place but little things meant that it didn't deserve its 5 star rating. The WiFi did not work in the hotel room, only in the restaurant and reception areas, which was very frustrating and inconvenient. When we arrived there was one area through which everyone had to walk to access other areas of the hotel, which had a large pallet loaded with what seemed to be large boxes of machinery. Over our stay this pallet was gradually unloaded but the boxes were just moved to corridors outside the hotel rooms on various levels. There was evidence of damage to some of the mosaics set into walkways and repairs were needed to the steps from our room down to the pool area. In my hotel room, there was no plug for the bathroom basin, meaning to shave it was necessary to keep running the water - a waste of resources. There was no toilet roll holder beside the toilet, just a couple of toilet rolls sitting on a shelf beneath the hand basin. The beach towels were obviously quite old as many of them were frayed at the edges. In all, whilst we enjoyed our stay there it definitely was not worth a 5 star rating."

"I booked Jasmine Elite because it had a full spa and it is rare to find that in combination with a great price. Not only the apartment was super spacious, the steam room was the hottest I ever had, but also staff was very nice and helpful. It was within walking distance to downtown and supermarket. There were animals on the property that were treated with respect and care. Gym had great equipment and overall, it was an amazing experience. Definitely recommend it. The major plus was that it had its own laundry too and breakfast was included."
