  • This lovely three-bedroom apartment is full of natural light. The comfortable furniture and the beautiful mixture of colours offer the place a welcoming and relaxing spirit.
    You will love cooking a Spanish meal in your own kitchen or just trying one of the many restaurants in the neighbourhood.
    Located in the heart of the city, you will find many of the most beautiful landmarks only a few minutes from the apartment.

    Within walking distance are Las Arenas and Joan Miro Park. You will love the La Villarroel Theatre and the Eixample Theatre, both in the area.
    The Rocafort Metro Station is available to zip you all around the city.

Ok apartment - but worn

The apartment is ok for what it is but the furniture and floors are a bit beat up. If you are using this as a place to stay with a group it would be fine. Having stayed in 30 + rentals over a decade this was in the bottom half. Location was ok as it was close to metro and neighborhood was active with local life.

This aparntemt is extremely dated and not as per the photographs supplied/advertised.Cleanliness was of a very low standard, main bathroom moldy.Furnishings dated and dirty.One of the beds creak at every movement.There is a quiet time policy from 10pm, This certianly was not adheard to by others in the block. Every night was extremely noisey,banging,scraping,scraming,shouting from other apartments and the stairwells. This disrupted our sleep every night. We were exhausted by the end of our stay.On top of that Sweett had the cheek to acuse us of making the noise.This apartment is also next to the lift so that adds even more noise to the mix.The hot water combi boiler went faulty leaving us with no hot water. They tried to say we run the hot water tank dry, there was no hot water tank.Customer service via the app chat is terrible, like they just did not care.Using the vrbo contact chat gave us more civilised chat which led to the boiler being repaired.All in all I would avoid this place, very expensive for a well dated and worn place which is falsley advertised.Barcelona is a wonderful city but this accommodation ruined our holiday.

Good value for money, with some drawbacks.

Our five night stay in the apartment was fine with a good value for the money compared to competing offerings. The biggest drawback of the rooms is that it is an old house and there is a lot of noise coming in from the streets. The apartment has been renovated and the cleaning crew did the best job they could have done. Still some edges, doors, windows are still quite old and cannot offer a "clean look" and functionality anymore. Some of the interiors in the kitchen and in the living room are worn down a bit. The single beds are a bit short. The elevators work fine and quiet. All the transactions with Sweetin are electronic by default, so you need a smartphone with working internet connect to open the front door. In this building there are several Sweetin apartments and on some days there was a very friendly receptionist between 3 and 6 pm on the bottom floor. The view from the small balcony is nice and the apartment is located nicely, so that many things can be reached by foot.
