The Collection Barcelona welcomes you to this lovely 3 bedroom apartment with a lot of charming character. With beautiful wood flooring and plenty of natural light, my place has everything you need for a comfortable stay and a unique experience!

Only 10 minutes walk from Plaza Catalunya, Arc de Triomf and Ciutadella's parc and 3 minutes away from Urquinaona (Metro Red Line L1 & Green Line L3).

The Space:
Welcome to this 95 m2 spacious and bright flat in a historical building located next to Plaza Urquinaona and the emblematic centre of Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya. Barcelona’s historic Eixample is an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, containing some of the most emblematic monuments and museums of the city.

We manage other apartments in the same building, ideal for business groups and big families!

⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Walls are very thin and other residents of the building very sensitive to noises. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.

APARTMENT DISTRIBUTION:
The apartment has a capacity for up to 6 people distributed in 3 bedrooms:
- Bedroom 1: 1 Double bed
- Bedroom 2: 1 Double bed
- Bedroom 3: 2 Individual beds

SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE APARTMENT:
- Spacious living room. This apartment features a bright and comfy living area with its own dinning table and a well-equipped kitchen.

- The AC is only located in the living room.

- Baby travel cot and high chair available under request
- Bed linens (and comforters during winter season) and bath towels (one shower towel per guest) will be provided!

The Neighborhood:
Dreta de l'Eixample is a neighborhood in the Eixample district of Barcelona. It includes Plaça de Catalunya, the centre of the city, and the upscale streets Rambla de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. It is the bourgeois neighborhood of the city, which makes the majority of its population belong to the upper class of Barcelona. Dreta de L'Eixample is one of the most luxurious neighborhoods of Barcelona.

Getting Around:
The closest metro station is Plaça Urquinaona (Lines 1 & 4).
The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça Catalunya, in front of "El Corte Inlges". The cost is around 4.5€

Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***

- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small fee of 6.25€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.
- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.
- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)

*** HOUSE RULES ***

1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.

Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

STAY AWAY FROM IT

- There are CAMERAS inside the property, on the corridors and there was one in one BEDROOM, that a previous guest must have removed as the cables are still there. - I got LOCKED OUT as the lock is digital. No key. I went for a run and when I got back the lock was dead. It was Sunday, and I had to meet an important corporate team of my meeting in GYM CLOTHES. Their response by email: "Our apologies for any inconvenience, stay safe. " WOW. I managed to speak with a friendly guy who sent someone to fix it, hours later, when was too late for me to prepare. SO if you can live with being randomly left on the street, then I guess is all good if you wanna stay here. - The whole flat stinks of SEWAGE. The original flat was split in to three apartments and am not sure what they have done with the pipes, but STINKS. I dont even wanna think in summer. - NOISE from the other split flats is as if they were in your flat. On Saturday night there was a party that kept me up til late. - Overall state of that flat is just gross, swelled up door frames, dirty walls, is GROSS to even sit in the sofa. Really unloved and not any near what you'd expect. I never write any kind of negative review, but this has been a gross experience, it brought me a lot of problems for work, made me look un professional and had to deal it. They sent an email to check if all was sorted. I explained all the damaged it had done to be locked out and how are they planning to solve/compensate. NO REPLY. So, up to you if you wanna risk it. There are plenty of nice places in Barcelona. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM. Stay away if you have important plans. I wish I had known.
