Central Barcelona style penthouse with charm.

Typical farm of the early twentieth century with old mosaic floors and wooden doors. Very bright and spacious. The modern decor is carefully combined with the historical elements and creates a cozy and comfortable atmosphere.



It consists of a master bedroom with double bed King Size, another bedroom with two single beds, large kitchen / dining room with sofa bed, bathroom and extra toilet.

Large private terrace of 35m2 with views over Barcelona ideal to relax, sunbathe or have breakfast.

The whole apartment is absolutely prepared for your stay. Kitchen and bathrooms fully equipped. Master bedroom with Queen Size bed (1,60x2m) and latex mattress. Linens and towels included.



It has satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, heating and elevator.

The apartment is located in a large inner courtyard that gives tranquility in the middle of the activity of the charming and full of life Barrio de Sant Antoni, in the very center of the city. The area has all the shops, necessary services and leisure offer for a perfect stay. It is recommended to enjoy the wide variety of bars, restaurants and fashion shops that the famous Barcelonés district offers.



In the same neighborhood we find the historic Mercat de Sant Antoni, one of the most important and oldest in the city, where you can try and buy typical local food and interact with the inhabitants of the city and the local culture.



The location stands out for its good communication with all parts of the city. The apartment is located 3 minutes walk from the metro stations St. Antoni, Poble Sec and Rocafort which gives access to three different lines of the metro, therefore to all the different parts of the city comfortably.



It is located just 15 minutes walk from the city center, Plaza Catalunya, Las Ramblas, Plaza Universitat and Plaza España, where the fairgrounds are located.

It is also very close to the port of Drassanes and the Parc de Montjuïc.

Very good connectivity with El Prat Airport since it has an Aerobus stop.



If you come by your own car we can reserve you on request a covered covered parking 24h for € 15 / day.

Great location, near public transport and food stores. Well equipped for self-catering. The terrace on the rooftop is very nice. The wi-fi, air condition, washing machine and elevator work fine. (We did not use the TV.)

Josep is a very good host and very helpful. He took time to explain the area, where to shop food and how to use all the equipment in the apartment. The place is nice. We cooked a lot of food and had family visiting to eat and enjoy the afternoon. It's really nice to be able to wash clothes and you have all the most important stuff in the kitchen. Also the bathroom are good. The terrace is really nice to get sun during the day, dry clothes or hang out in the morning and evenings. The small bedroom is simple and if you wake up with sounds you may need ear plugs because you can here the elevator quit clear. I didn't mind so much. The big one is really nice. The area is cozy and I would absolutely recommend this apartment.

Ein großes Lob an die Gastgeber. Ein sehr netter Empfang und persönliche Betreuung durch Josep. Die Wohnung liegt in einer guten und zentralen Lage. Es gibt einige Restaurants und Lokale direkt in der Nähe der Wohnung, die einen tollen Flair hatten und preislich ok waren. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen. Ulf, Ulrike mit Adina

Die schönen Fotos in der Beschreibung verführten uns, dieses Apartment zu buchen. Der hohe Preis schien angemessen zu sein. Die Realität sieht leider anders aus: vernachlässigte Pflanzen auf der Terrasse, zerrissene Planen, fehlende Vorhänge am Bett - vieles ist längst heruntergekommen, was auf den Fotos noch gut aussieht. Wenn man auf die Terrasse möchte, muss man erst aus der Wohnung raus und durch den Hausflur - aufwendig falls man ein paar Sachen aus der Küche vom anderen Ende der Wohnung ohne Tablett transportieren muss...Die Ausstattung der Küche ist rudimentär, nicht mal ein Wasserkocher ist vorhanden; die Wohnung ist ein langer Schlauch, die Zimmer sind immer stickig, da man sie nicht wirklich lüften kann (ok - es gibt Klimageräte). Das Zimmer für die Kinder entspricht in der Größe einer Abstellkammer. Im Bad gibt es kaum Ablageflächen oder Haken am Waschbecken. Ich wünschte, ich könnte Fotos anhängen - geht aber leider nicht. Positiv ist die Größe der Küche und dass die Wohnung überraschend ruhig ist. FAZIT: für den halben Preis wäre es akzeptabel, so aber völlig unangemessen - ist wohl dem Barcelona Hype anzulasten

Nice clean apartment. No personal touches tough like tablecloth or place mats. Waited 2 days for extra sheets and blankets. Terrace was very nice but outside the apartment. You needed keys to go back and forth. Needs new iron and ironing board. Fridge could be bigger. TV missing appropriate plugs that we had to supply. Beds comfortable and great AC. 2 Bathrooms one with toilet only the other with toilet and bathtub with shower. Great location only a few minutes from major subway. Only minutes from all attractions. Plenty of grocery stores around.

Appartement ligt dicht bij 3 verschillende metrolijnen. Je bent met 2 stops in het centrum van de stad. In de buurt veel winkels voor al je boodschappen mocht je zelf willen koken, maar ook veel prima restaurantjes. De eigenaar verschaft een lijst met aan te raden winkels en restaurants in de buurt, inclusief plattegrondje. Heel handig. Beslist doen: ga naar de overdekte markt van San Antoni, de grootste van Barcelona, en op 200 meter lopen van het appartement. Het appartement zelf is eenvoudig, maar heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Het dakterras is geweldig. We hebben (eind september) tot 's avonds laat buiten kunnen zitten. De tweede slaapkamer is erg klein, maar bleek voor ons (twee volwassen stellen) geen reden om in de woonkeuken te gaan slapen. Al met al prima bevallen.
