Spacious room with lots of great amenities. Easy to order breakfast, towels, soap, etc. and have delivered to room. Free bottled water, sodas, popcorn, & cookies in common area in each building. Two luggage stands in room, two sinks, and two sitting chairs. Free bus pickup close by. Definitely recommend.

Adorable, convenient and immaculately clean

I was very pleased with my stay at Highbrook. It was super clean, quiet and comfortable. The room was large, and had a refrigerator. Breakfast was included (delivered), as were cold drinks. It's very close to Acadia National Park, and on the free shuttle route as well. The hotel's app provides great suggestions for things to do in the area. The service was top notch.

The ratings live up to the hype! Book it!

I stayed here because of the ratings, the proximity to town (there's a nice sidewalk you can walk right into downtown Bar Harbor and the island hopper shuttle stops right outside the motel as well), and the great price. Highbrook Motel did not disappoint!! The hospitality was amazing and the wifi was great. My partner and I worked from "home" for a day during our stay and had very good, reliable internet. Every night, you can place an order an included breakfast which is then left outside your door during a specified time slot. My only complaint were the pillows which were all pretty thick and stiff. If you're coming to the area by car, maybe bring your own. Still, after long days being out and about, the pillows did not stop me from passing out cold at night. :) I'd definitely stay here again. The value/high ratings lived up to the hype.

Motel che merita un voto pieno. Accoglienza ottima da parte del proprietario, che ci ha dato consigli utili per andare in centro a Bar Harbor con mezzi pubblici, gratuiti, che passano molto vicino al motel (sia andata che ritorno). Comodo il parcheggio davanti al proprio alloggio. Camera spaziosa e pulita, dotata di vari utili accessori (per esempio, macchina per fare il caffè). Sia in camera, che fuori, sotto il portico, ci sono un tavolo con due sedie, dove è comodo consumare la colazione. Infatti, la colazione, buona e abbondante, si ordina sul sito del motel e viene puntualmente consegnata, all'ora richiesta, davanti alla porta della camera. Il bagno è pulito, con finestra che dà sul retro del motel. La doccia funziona bene. La porta di entrata e le finestre hanno le zanzariere. Aria condizionata ottima e, se impostata al minimo, silenziosa. La zona, di notte, è tranquilla e quindi si dorme bene. Il letto è comodo. Insomma, io e mia moglie ci siamo trovati molto bene all' Highbrook Motel, dove abbiamo dormito 2 notti.

It was a bit of a walk to down town, but the shuttle service was very dependable and located right across the street so very easy to access. We loved it and would highly recommend it. It was a great value for the price. The combination of the airbnb feel with the speedy response and amenities of a hotel were superb.

Wonderful stays - back-to-back years

The location, specifically its proximity to both Acadia National Park and to Bar Harbor, make this an excellent choice for couples or solo travelers. Their breakfast, which is included, is always filling and allows for many great options to snack on during a full day of adventures. All the rooms come fully equipped with all of life’s modern day pleasures and whatever else you think you might need, the office probably has the rest. The office is manned for the better part of the day and they’re extremely helpful and knowledgeable if you have any questions or just want to know more from a local’s perspective. I can’t recommend this place enough.
