"Well-designed property with amazing views and mineral water pools! The villa worked well for a family of four, allowing for enough space to relax after a long day of hiking."
"All our needs was in walking distance if not at the hotel! Breakfast was absolutely awesome with a wide range of foods to choose from!!
We highly recommend Interhotel Sandanski!!"
"Excellent family run hotel, great room with balcony and view of the mountains. Homemade cookies on arrival, local advice and a breakfast for kings, 8 min walk to town outstanding "
"I stay in a one bed apartment and was thankful for the air-conditioning as it was hot outside. Plenty of room for one person and there was a view of the mountain from the windows. I had to buy some microwave cookware as there was no specific items of that kind in the apartment but that was the only thing that let the place down. "
"Arrived at the hotel but the man could not locate our reservation albeit we had only booked a few minutes before. He suggested we were at the wrong hotel but then showed us to the room. He wasn’t very friendly!
We left the hotel at 8:45am but the reception was closed and nobody around. We called a phone number twice that was on the door but nobody answered so we had to leave the key on a hook on the door!!"

Bansko itself provided plenty of eating and drinking opportunities and is very nice. There's only one gondola to get up the mountain to the ski area and the queue in the morning is ridiculous, even in late March. Drive up if you can.

Good
Bansko is a little busy now and needs another gondola system in place to ferry guests from the town to the mountain. The mountain side bars are ok but all could do with slight updates now that money is being spent by tourists in the regioon

Good
Lovely lively town; downside is the queues to the gondola lift were ridiculous (2-3hr) so we ended up having to pay for a minibus each day (during the UK half term). Not the best for beginner skiers due to lack of green slopes. But loved it still!
"A short walk to the main strip with restaurants and bars. Easy street parking. The room and bathroom was pretty dated, but comfortable. No aircon or fan if visiting in Summer, but the mountain weather kept things cool enough to sleep."
"Nice hotel, got a free upgrade on arrival. They don’t offer couples massage but managed to find another masseuse to accommodate our request. Spa facilities were good. Good value for money, would stay again if we went back for the skiing. "
"Great location a few steps away from the town centre which is packed with shops, restaurants, bars etc. The hotel itself is a 3* - the rooms (and bathrooms in particular) are a little outdated but the beds are comfortable enough. Quite a few things were missing in our kitchen but reception acted on it and replaced missing items.
I think there should be a choice of whether or not they change your towels everyday as I find it a real waste and not eco friendly. No bath mat provided so we were using a hand towel.
Kitchenette was really useful. Breakfast was very comprehensive and the hot food items varied day on day. Very decent food.
Pool is a fab addition/bonus and we really enjoyed the 2 saunas. Bathrobes provided also great. "
"We have stayed at this hotel two years in a row. The hotel is well located for access to the Gondola. The rooms are clean, albeit a little dated. The spa is an added bonus after a day on the slopes and the included breakfast is good. "
"We really enjoyed staying at Saint George’s Palace. The reception staff were so friendly and welcoming. Great swimming pool and spa area. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Great to have shuttle bus to gondola. "
