"The hotel itself was very clean, although the rooms were somewhat dated. Our suite was spacious and offered plenty of room, but the furnishings and décor could use some updating. Upon arrival, only one of the elevators was operational, which resulted in longer wait times throughout our stay. The highlight of the experience was definitely the breakfast, which was excellent and offered a wide variety of options to choose from. Overall, the breakfast was the best part of our stay."

"Toilet ran off and on. Window didn’t lock and storm door latch was broken. Enjoyed the old style room with very comfy bed. Nice and quiet. We enjoyed our stay!"

"Our cabin was very clean and orderly. The staff was by far the best part of the whole stay. The fire pit was stocked and kept going by Charles. A small group of us sat by the fire and enjoyed the evening. It was one of the best stays we have had on the road that we can ever remember. We stayed for the location but will come back for the peace and quiet the property offers. The Cafe was a pleasant surprise for breakfast. The building itself large and beautiful. The food, however was even better. Reasonable pricing and exceedingly large portions. Just a really fantastic stay!"

"We made a quick trip for family weekend at ETSU. The property was 5-10 minutes away. Our king size bedroom was more expansive than expected. Tons of walk room, a decent sofa sleeper, and pleasant smelling. The bathroom was spotless but shower towels did a better job of smearing the water off me than drying the skin. The hallways are very wide and didn’t smell great. It reminds me of a renovated older 4 story hotel. The TV isn’t a smart TV so no streaming but the cable TV has tons of channels"

"The welcoming staff was so nice to be met by after a challenging drive. Room was clean, comfy bed, roomy bathroom, quiet. Nice selection of snacks for purchase and restaurants close by. Breakfast was good as was the coffee. I felt safe there."
