Imagine a huge back deck overlooking the woods, crackling fire pit, toasting marshmallows & local deer stopping to visit. Our home features mountain decor and loads of outdoor areas to explore. We are minutes from skiing, hiking & the Parkway. Hot tub to relax in after a busy day. Flat Screen Cable TV's in all rooms - WiFi throughout. Games, movies, books-everything you need for a fabulous mountain getaway. We welcome furry friends too.

Our back desk is the perfect spot to sit and watch the deer gather in the yard. They will even eat our of your hand. The local Fred's Mercantile stocks deer corn so you can spread some in the yard and watch dozens of them. In summer, the babies still have their spots!

During pleasant weather the back deck has a large dining table and makes a perfect place for a tranquil meal. We have updated the kitchen with granite counters and a coffee bar hidden behind unique sliding barn doors.

The home is comprised of three floors. The main level has the open plan living room and kitchen area, three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and access to front and back decks. Up one level is the loft bedroom with additional living space. Down one level is the jacuzzi room, half bath and laundry area.

We have security cameras at front and back doors to monitor the home when it is unoccupied. They are for security only, are aimed straight down, do not view guest areas and do not record.

We allow 2 mature dogs. We do not allow cats or other pets. There is a one time pet fee of $100. Please include the pets in your reservation and the fee will automatically be included in your total.

We supply firewood for the fireplace and fire pit. You will find it stacked beneath the front deck.

While summer temps are lovely and average in the low 70's, we do supply a modern window air conditioner during summer months (May - August). It works well to remove any humidity throughout the cabin. Each bedroom is also equipped with a slim line window fan.

Very nice house. No AC but that was our fault. It was listed no AC. Smaller than expected but it fit our needs.

Cozy Retreat

My family booked for a quick weekend getaway and we all enjoyed our experience very much. The cabin was clean and very cozy, with lots of outdoor patio space to relax and absorb the peace and tranquility that nature provides. The cabin was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We all agreed that we will be back someday!

Beech Mountain Summer Concert Weekend

We stayed to celebrate a friend’s birthday along with the summer concert series. The cabin was perfect location! Our dogs loved the closed in porch. The house did feel a little musty as the jacuzzi is in the basement (which we didn’t use), I would recommend taking off the doors on the fridge and coffee station, they were a small nuisance. Overall absolutely a wonderful stay!

Relaxing

The house was smaller than I thought but was large enough to accommodate the group we took. The hot tub never got hot and the water pressure was bad, and with are large group we ran out of hot water. but, The house was nice and had everything we needed. could of used more towels but the deer that came up to the back porch was amazing! The lady owner was amazing also!

A true gem of a location

The property was amazing. The beds are comfortable. The hot tub was a bonus after a day of skiing. Truly a gem of a location. Highly suggested though a car with four wheel drive or all wheel during the winter months as suggested. It’s the mountains and it snows nothing to be done about it.

Great stay in Beech Mountain

Our family gets together every summer in the North Carolina mountains and we've stayed in places from Brevard to Boone. This was our second stay at Beech Mountain. This house was cozy and comfortable but a bit small for our growing-up teens/preteen. It had all the necessary amenities and several of us were very pleased with the tea/coffee nook. We loved the back deck...sitting outside in the mornings and relaxing by the fire in the evenings. Our only difficulty with the house was the steep/narrow driveway that made it hard for for us to easily drive our van in and out.

Location was great for our Land of Oz visit.

We had 3 people that were 70 years old. The steps both inside and out were challenging. The interior was much smaller than the pictures indicated. The house is very dark (paneling) and there is a musty smell due to the hot tub being in the basement. Even though we encountered these few issues we did enjoy our stay. The back deck is the biggest asset.
