Ietsje ouder hotel met vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Het hotel ligt prachtig aan de rivier. Per boot zijn Royal Palace, Wat Arun en andere bezienswaardigheden gemakkelijk te bereiken. Ook fijn en gemakkelijk: de markt die direct bij het hotel vind.

Einfach perfekt - wir kommen wieder!

Bereits zum vierten Mal logierten wir in diesem genialen Hotel. Die Lage ist traumhaft, die Zimmer "wow", sehr freundlicher Staff und gutes Essen. Wir hatten für diese Reise wiederum die "Panoramic Suite" mit 180 Grad Sicht auf den Fluss mit schönem Balkon. Zwei Fähren zu Fuss kurz erreichbar, Prannok/Wang Lang in ca. 3 Minuten und Wat Rakhang in ca. 5 Min. Da wir mit dem Auto angereist sind und es rund um das Hotel absolut keine Parkmöglichkeiten gibt, haben wir den Wagen im Wat Rakhang Parkhaus abgestellt. Kostenpunkt B 20.- pro Stunde. Ein perfekter Aufenthalt - wir kommen wieder. Mike & Sabina

Everything was wonderful. The staff are extremely nice and accommodating, truly some of the kindest people I've met. The restaurant has yummy food and the views are great. The location was also a plus as it was convenient to take the ferries to different places along the river.

Great boutique hotel on the riverfront

This was my fourth stay in a riverfront room at this boutique hotel. It has fantastic panoramic views of Bangkok from its bars, restaurant and riverfront rooms. The boutique accommodation is modest, spotlessly clean and very nice, it has a friendly welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. The staff are lovely. The hotel restaurant has excellent Thai food. The location is an easy 5-minute walk to the ferry terminal. There is no motor vehicle access, the hotel is in a narrow laneway where their own tuk-tuks collect you. The hotel explain how to get there, it is not that difficult. It is a fun location in vibrant Chinatown style alleyways with their eclectic mix of market stalls and shops.

Bangkok stay

We looked for somewhere on the river to stay for our last two nights in Bangkok and we're so glad we chose Baan Wang Lang. Right on the riverbank, a stones throw from Wang Lang ferry pier so easy access and a market on the doorstep. Booked a river view room and wow - the views from the bedroom and balcony were awesome, with views up and down stream and across to the Grand Palace. The staff were so helpful and friendly, particularly Nan and also a young new member of staff (whose name we didn't get) who had only just started on the Monday as we arrived. Lots going on around the hotel too, bars/restaurants, the market and of course a 7-11. Facilities at the hotel were also very good with a rooftop bar, cafe and restaurant.
