"We chose this hotel because we wanted a quiet and relaxing stay surrounded by nature. Unfortunately, during our stay there was ongoing construction noise, which made it very difficult to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere we were expecting. We mentioned the issue but nothing really changed. It was disappointing because the location is beautiful and has great potential, but the constant noise affected our experience. Another thing to note is that the kitchen closes around 17:00, so there is no food available after that time. You can order food from outside if needed. Also, since the hotel is in a more remote area, you may need to rent a motorbike to get around. It’s possible to rent one through the hotel, but renting from outside can be cheaper. If you are looking for a truly quiet place in nature, it may be worth checking whether the construction is still ongoing before booking."

"Very slow front desk service and poor response to guest needs. The room lacked basic supplies such as bottled water and face towels, and repeated calls to request them were unsuccessful. English communication and service efficiency need improvement. Check-in also took much longer than expected. I would only stay here again if necessary for a nearby family gathering. "

"The staff were amazingly friendly, albeit, English wasn’t great. Google translator came in very handy. The rooms were cleaned everyday. The dinner food was great, breakfast hot buffet was a little cold. The pool was clean and refreshing Would stay again. "

It's design and decor are beyond unbelievable. Even walking down the hallway to our room is an enjoyable experience. Como Point Yamu delighted us every day. "Sitting outside there were sooo many flies and ants and it was like the second you opened the door to come out they would go in the room. I left a box of pizza over night on table and woke up to ants. In addition, my makeup made a stain on the pillow and as we were waiting for our car to pick us up to take us to airport the cleaning person ran outside with the pillow to point it out to me. Which was very weird and rude. The person at the desk told us not to worry about it. Aside from these things the place was cheap and clean and served its purpose for 4 nights after our flight being canceled because of snow storm "

"The restaurant was not very good for the buffet breakfast or the lunch there. Breakfast was not very varied and every "hot" food except soup was actually cold every day, which is not safe. For lunch, they got 3 out of 4 items ordered incorrect. We tried to ask the front desk questions about shopping and activities, but they did not speak enough English to help and I only speak about 30 Thai phrases so we just researched on Google. our room was full of drain flies. Literally hundreds of flies, every day. We told the front desk immediately and they didn't do anything or move us. Every day we killed at least 50, every morning they were in the bathroom, shower, on the bedding and in the curtains. Housekeeping didn't even clean up all the dead flies daily. The bed is the hardest mattress I've ever encountered, even after years of Asia travels. There were no options for anything else or a topper."
