"The staff at 4 Monkeys Hotel are all very friendly and helpful and make staying there a pleasure. We have been returning customers 6 times already. The rooms are mostly quite small and fairly basic, but they are very clean and have everything you might need (bottled water provided daily, kettle, fridge). The area is quiet yet within very easy walking distance of the whole Khao San Road backpacking area. It is also easy to find for taxi drivers and you can use the pool of the sister property across the street. All in all, a great value and superior service for a budget hotel."

"The hotel was very clean and nice. We immediately felt at home. Close to popular Khaosan street. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We tried the breakfast one day and it was very nice as well with good assortments. Our only bad review is that they could improve on noise cancelling as we heard everything from our corridoor and at times when neighbours were being loud. Weirdly enough we didn’t hear too much from the street outside."

"Riva Surya has a beautiful location, and exceptionally friendly & helpful staff. The restaurant is open all day, and has a variety of dishes that are very well prepared. The room was very comfortable. The hotel was undergoing renovations during my stay, to the pool, as well to the rooms. Periodic maintenance is of course necessary, and it is unfortunate if one encounters it during one’s stay, but on the bright side, I think Riva Surya will be an exceptional place to stay when the work is completed. "
