"We had a fantastic 3 night stay here for a family wedding which was in nearby location. Our room was spotlessly clean and well appointed with a huge walk in wardrobe and a decent supply of hangers. "This was a convenient place for us as we were heading to a wedding nearby. The room was clean, and the en-suite surprising large. However there were spots on the wall / that looked like something spilled this was a shame as the room has a lovely decoration - but the marks were noticeable. However everything else was excellent - staff/ food we had breakfast and lunch while there. There are also lots of places to eat close by!"

"The property was beautifully quaint and 16th Century with beams, a lovely pub and gorgeous dining area. The food was very good and the breakfast, both the cooked and the cold breakfast. The only problem was the steep stairs but nothing you can do about that as the property is so old. Overall a charming place. "

"We were pleasantly surprised. It was a lovely stay. Good nights sleep, quiet and safe. It does need updating but it was clean and comfortable. Shame pool and gym is only open in the morning. We couldn't go after checkinh in. 20 min walk to town. Not so bad for the price. "

"A lovely 2 day break at the lakes, so peaceful and relaxing. Spa is great too and we pretty much had it to ourselves most of the time. Food in the tipi was also great, would have liked to have seen some more sweet breakfast and healthy options though. It would also be great if there was an on-site shop to buy any groceries/essentials to save having to drive elsewhere."
