The Lumberjill Lodge is an 18-room boutique motel in Balsam Lake, WI. Room 14 is a great fit for couples, friends, and small families looking to enjoy the lake and explore the town and the lake.
Please note our rooms are being slowly changed (flooring, wallpaper and decor), so things might just look different when you arrive, but all listed amenities and things available in each room will stay the same!
ROOM ASSIGNMENT: This is a motel and you will be assigned one of our rooms with the same bed size and count as the listing. If you would like additional information or more pictures of a particular room, send us a message!
Guests will have access to Room 3 and the picnic tables + outdoor space at the side of Building 2.
Guests will have support via the Airbnb app and a phone number during their stay.

If your group is bringing more than one vehicle we ask that you park in front of the room behind one another. You will park in front of room 10 room at Building 2 or in front of the lower rooms at Building 3.
Please note our rooms are being slowly changed (flooring and decor), so things may look different when you arrive, but all listed amenities and things available in each room will stay the same!
We do not allow pets at this time.
1- Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Please be mindful of other guests and keep noise to a minimum during these hours.
2- No Smoking or Drugs: Smoking, vaping, or drug use is not permitted inside the rooms or on the property. A $175+ fee will be charged for smell remediation if smoking or vaping occurs in the room.
3- Pets: Pets are not allowed unless explicitly permitted. Service animals are always permitted. For approved pets, guests must clean up after them. Additional fees may apply for any damages caused.
4- Guest Count: All guests, including children and infants, must be listed on the reservation. The total guest count must match the booking.
5- Late Check-Out: Check-out time is at 11 AM. Unauthorized late check-outs will incur a $50 fee. If you'd like to extend your stay, please contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
6- Toilets: Please flush only toilet paper. Do not flush wipes, even if labeled “flushable,” or other non-disposable items to prevent plumbing issues.
7- Parties and Events: Parties, events, or large gatherings are not permitted. Cleaning fees starting at $150 will apply if additional cleaning is required due to excessive mess or parties.
8- Exterior Cameras: For your safety and ours, security cameras are in use on the exterior of the property. Do not tamper with or disable them.
9- Damages and Missing Items: Please report any damages or missing items during your stay. Additional charges may apply for unreported issues found after check-out.
10- Trash: Dispose of all trash in the designated bins. Do not leave trash outside your room to avoid attracting pests.
11- Travel Insurance: We recommend travel insurance for unexpected events. Refunds cannot be provided due to inclement weather or other disruptions beyond our control.
12- No Drugs or Illegal Activities: Any illegal activity will result in immediate removal from the property without a refund.
13- Respect for Property: Please leave the room in good condition. Excessive cleaning or damages may result in additional fees.
14- Maintenance: Light maintenance may occur during your stay. If service is required, we will provide advance notice whenever possible.
