It was spotlessly clean. The communications with the owner were first class, and they were incredibly helpful in letting us check-in early and check-out late so that we could squeeze in additional rides on our first and last day. "It is an excellently located hotel. It is extremely tidy and clean. In terms of what can be improved, the rooms are a bit dated in my view but bedding and size of rooms are excellent. The bar could be more atmospheric and less functional, and the gym is extremely basic (less of an issue in a place like Annecy which is a dream for fitness in general). Overall, it’s an excellent choice for Annecy."
