"Great location for our golf trip. Clean and attentive staff. We got parking but limited space. Very good restaurant but slow service. Would stay again if playing golf in area and easy access to St. Andrews and Carnoustie."

"The Woodlands is lovely. It's not a perfect hotel, some of the rooms need a spruce up and ours was directly above the kitchen so our bathroom smelled of cooking for much of the time, but it's a charming place with lots of character and lovely staff."

"First time at Malmaison with 2 small dogs. Room was a suite and only had booked a standard double room. Absolutely beautiful with bath and Jack and Jill shower facilities and sinks. Extra room to side with circular couch bed and flat screen TV . Staff very helpful. Unable to take dogs into Brasserie restaurant but are in for stairs bar and food brought to table. But more difficult at breakfast but eventually after explaining unable to up and down lift with breakfast we were allowed to sit in conference side room with dogs which was adjacent to buffet breakfast room. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay "
