"My mum uses a Zimmer and the acces for her limited mobility was amazing. The staff truly went over and above from the second we walked in to the bar, restaurant, concierge, restaurant, spa etc.... I don't know how they get to know everyones names as so many people go through the door every day. Everyone was exceptional. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Food was out of this world. We weren't bothered too much yet, restaurant seemed to know just by a look, that we were going to ask for something or needed something. "Main standout quality of this hotel is it’s location. Beautiful views of The Mournes and very well maintained gardens. Also ample car parking space. If you want a quiet place to escape then this is it. Very attentive staff and excellent food. We did get the impression that one of the male staff was overworked- it seemed that he was absolutely doing everything, but must stress that he was an excellent ‘people person’ and that nothing was a bother to him. This hotel is only 1.8miles from the beautiful resort of Newcastle and is a perfect base from which to plan your hikes in The Mournes. "
