"The rooms were great. There's a spa/pool, but we weren't there enough to access. The restaurant and lounge were very comfortable - Annie, in the restaurant, made our day! She ensured we tried foods at the buffet, had great stories and cared! The lounge area had music (person w/guitar) and all of our food was great. This was in an area of Belfast I hadn't seen before - hidden! We took a cab to go into the city proper which was really only 5-10 min. Well worth staying here."

"The Haslem is an excellent choice Hotel to stay if you are visiting this area or Belfast, the stay was wonderful, the included breakfast was fantastic, the proximity to the local train station to get Downtown Belfast was easy and walking distance away, I would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. "Very comfortable stay. Room was clean and well equipped with great en-suite bathroom. Cooked breakfast was tasty and good breakfast selections. Enjoyed lunch in restaurant before going home. Great selections on menu and well cooked. Great roast dinner options on Sunday too. "

"Just a lovely spot, 5 minutes driving from town and the shore in Newcastle, 15 or so to some great hiking trails. Grounds are very nice and there’s a gentle climb down to the river, a beautiful spot on the patio to sit out for a drink or morning coffee — and the breakfast was excellent as well (I had to go for the Ulster Fry (similar to the Full English) both mornings. Wish we could have stayed longer, but hope to go back. Seems to be a holiday spot for the Irish and those from the UK, not overrun by our fellow Americans. "

Comfortable lounge and adjacent sunroom for guests to enjoy. Comprehensive facilities, sauna, jacuzzi and hot tub. Excellent breakfast and Nespresso coffee machines at your disposal. "
