Farm walks and interesting things to see on and around the farm. The farm shop could not have been more convenient - it was right underneath us. Patricia has made this a lovely place to stay. "It was a little challenging to check in (the VRBO chat only talks to the listing company - they send you the contact details for the owner separately) and the directions are needed (don't trust google maps!) but other than that the property was great! Lovely views, very clean and comfortable and a great locations near to Belfast and right on the drive up the coast. We easily did a day of just circling up the coast hitting all the biggies (Cushindon caves, Carrick-a-rede, Giants causeway etc) and...

"There were good and not so good issues here. Negotiating our arrival was a challenge with a very stiff (& not obvious) gate catch then steep narrow concrete steps.Hot water had issues! And there was not much of a seaview from this so called Seaview Apartment! No instructions on how to work the oven/hob, the microwave or washing machine. The bathroom was damp & showing mould on the walls & with a window that wouldn't close! The bed was comfortable. The only way to get hot water to the sinks was...

"no sleep workmen drilling banging shouting ti 7p[m start again at 830 am the man come to us told me i don't own the house so sorry can do nothing and while talking he just stood up and walked out no manners at all i have never in my life had to complain ever no more i hope wiil i go back no some were eles yes tried to asnice but not very cleank for some money back no reply. "Stayed for 8 nights and enjoyed the peaceful nights. Location is perfect for getting away from the city and catching up on some Zzzzzzzzz`s. Great walks along the coats to Holywood, Helens Bay, or Crawfordsburn Country Park. The apartment is spacious and has plenty of room for 4 persons. Very good hosts with a nice welcome pack of local produce, which is simply the best. Blessed with the weather only rained once!"

"We’ve stayed here twice now, and would stay again next time we visit Northern Ireland, it’s in a great location, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the open plan living area was great for hosting family catch ups. The view over the water was really nice and on a clear day you can see Scotland. There was a bit of a damp smell in the down stairs bedrooms but it wasn’t too bad."
