"We stayed for 2 days in Sept. the staff was very welcoming and the lobby was large with plenty of places to sit. Our flight was delayed a day so we made good use of the lobby and restaurant. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Overall we thought this hotel was a good value"

"The Marlin Hotel is beautiful and perfectly located in central Dublin near St Stephens green and Grafton Street. Very modern, clean well-appointed lobby, and lounge area. The room was very clean and met our needs although a bit small/cramped. The only issue was that our room key card continued to fail. We needed to have it reprogrammed five times. Although this was inconvenient, the staff were extremely polite and responsive. I would stay at the Marlin again."

"Huge bustling hotel in very walkable area. Also ideal for day trips out of the city or to catch the air coach to the airport. Beautiful lounge with excellent bartenders. Front desk staff immediately accommodated my request for a room on a higher floor and were friendly and patient. Sometimes the lobby would get quite full with large groups. I would stay again."

"Great place to stay! Travelled from Canada with my partner and it was lovely! Shocked to find out there are no fridges or microwaves which made leftovers a bit tricky but it seems to be common all around the area not just this hotel so can’t complain! The staff was incredibly helpful and gave us extras of whatever we asked and quickly! Also had a water bottle refill station in the lobby which was nice and saved us from buying water. Would definitely stay here again as it is also within walking distance to most places we wanted to explore in Dublin (20-30min walk which we were ok with!)"

"I booked a single-occupancy room without realizing the property was more of a hostel, but despite that, I still had a very enjoyable stay. The location is excellent for anyone looking to see Dublin’s main sights or spend time around the Temple Bar area. Everything I wanted to visit was within walking distance, and having a bar and coffee shop in the hotel open 24/7 was extremely convenient. The rooms are fairly basic but comfortable. The pay-to-use lockers and laundry facilities were also convenient and relatively easy to use through an app. The staff were consistently pleasant, helpful, and accommodating throughout my stay. The hallways can get a little noisy at night, particularly when there are a lot of younger guests staying at the property, but the staff were diligent about keeping the noise under control after 10 p.m. Overall, I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for relatively affordable, centrally located accommodation and don’t need a lot of extra amenities."
