"Room was not cleaned when I checked in at 3pm but they were able to get housekeeping there to clean it immediately so I could check in by 3:45pm. Host said it was due to their busy season but for the price you’d expect more staff/planning. Saw other reviews mentioning this 2 weeks earlier as well. Once cleaned the cottage was cozy but very basic. Heat worked well. Quite noisy with floor/roof creaking and lots of outside noise. Also of note: Multiple people tried entering my cottage at night...

"What an incredible place to stay! The cabins are modern and clean. We received a warm welcome from Olaf. There’s a beautiful sauna and a BBQ gazebo where you can make dinner on fire. The location is also great - very close to some incredible beaches and hikes. Highly recommend staying here!"

"Absolutely loved the fisherman’s cabin we stayed in, beautiful setting, and the closeness of the hotel was perfect for food when we didn’t feel like cooking. I would highly recommend this accommodation, overlooking the bay with glorious views of the mountains too. Stayed for 6 nights on our Norway tour and it’s going to be hard to beat in terms of location and overall experience."
