"Friendly helpful staff. Clean functional room."

"We were so fortunate to be upgraded. Our room was a suite and superb. The staff on Reception were excellent and the Manager a joy."

"Great breakfast and fabulous spa."

"Todo muy fácil, limpio, bonito y muy bien localizado. En el centro, a pocos metros de la parada de autobús! Se agradece el tener una cocina común que ayuda mucho especialmente para desayunos. Repetiría el mismo lugar, sin dudarlo. Perfecto!"

"Beautiful grounds. We loved our stay"

"Hotel is excellent located within walking distance to the sanctuary. Not friendly staff at restaurant but food was delicious."

"The room was beautiful and well appointed, staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast outstanding!!"

"Incredible stay at an authentic castle. Wish we had stayed more than one night. The staff and service was very personal and next level. We loved walking through the castle exploring different spaces. Did a hawk walk and morning walk on the property grounds with blood hounds – both amazing experiences! Definitely worth the splurge."

"Liked the uniqueness of the architecture, location on the octagon and art collection."

"This hotel is a nice relaxing place to stay in. Staff are the best, food is excellent. The shower is the only problem, they need to move the shower curtain rod away from the bathtub to give more space when using the shower."

"The room was fine and the setting peaceful, but the bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows super flat. Also no cold water in the shower??? The breakfast was good."

"I honestly would give this a 3.5 rating instead of a 4, but it wasn't an option. This hotel is in a good location, but the rooms are very dated. The furniture is worn and tired. The baseboards, doors, and carpets are dented or torn. The upsides to the hotel are the restaurant and bar are great. The food, drinks and staff were all wonderful. I would not stay here again until they've updated the rooms."

"We had a nice large room with a bathtub which was quite nice. Geo large beds as well. However the cold water faucet did not work in our bathroom. The bathroom door also did not close and latch. The door was pretty beaten up at the bottom as well. Just needs some maintenance. I wanted to use the pool but the blaring music in the gym was a turn off for me doing that. The breakfast was ok. They said here were hot food options to get made to order but no one who waited on us even offered or told...

"All staff were superb. Excellent breakfast and evening meal Nice and central to town Stayed here several times before and will do again"
