"The lift was out of order for a few hours, while we were trying to haul luggage to the second floor. Then had one wall lose power completely. Otherwise, nice place."

"The property is in a busy and lively area of cork. Parking was a small pain on a Saturday night as you have to park at a public lot not far from the hotel. We booked a superior room which was adequate but not special. There is no ac in the property so get the staff to open the window in your room to allow for some air circulation. The bed was comfy and the staff super helpful."

"The team were absolutely excellent - especially a young get man working in the bar/restaurant (apologies for not catching his name). It’s a shame that the hotel itself is tired, run down and generally felt grubby. Our room smelled musty and our bathroom wasn’t very clean. The food and breakfast were excellent and the staff couldn’t have been any better! The area itself didn’t always feel super safe, unfortunately there were quite a number of people very obviously under the influence of substances. When we arrived at the hotel car park, the gate was blocked by people having an argument, and we saw leftover drug paraphernalia in the streets lining the hotel. Not at all the staff/hotel’s fault but just giving our true experience of our stay. In summary - excellent staff, hotel badly needs a good clean or even better a refurb, and the area surrounding didn’t feel safe although it was super central/handy to get everywhere in the city."

"The location is 10/10 The room was quite small, and the bathroom was tiny. The toilet when flushed was so loud and ran for a good 5 minutes. No outlets near bed. Felt like a cruise ship cabin. The view was a back enclosed parking lot with trash cans. Breakfast was good. Staff was pleasant and quite helpful. Location was prime!"
