"I came alone for a weekend away and had a very pleasant stay. The room was very comfortable and full of very convenient amenities such as the fridge, air con, coffee and tea facilities. All the staff I dealt with were very pleasant and made the experience amazing. I went to eat in the restaurant and even on a busy night the staff where attentive, pleasant and polite and the food was excellent. Normally the single dinning experience you can be made to feel like an inconvenience but this was not the case here and a very pleasant experience I made sure to inform the manager of on my way out. I love the pool facilities,it was relaxing after a long drive to be able to have a swim and relax. I have and will keep recommending this hotel to others and I will be back to stay again myself ☺️"

"Wonderful overnight stay for a birthday celebration. The staff went out of their to be helpful and make our stay enjoyable. The setting was amazing, especially the views of the lake from the lovely warm outdoor pool. Thank you to all the staff for helping to make our stay so memorable "

"The property was beautifully decorated. Staff were all mostly helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Nice and hot. Room was a family room very spacious, net curtains could do with being replaced. Quite ripped and worn Other than that room was very comfortable. Would nt hesitate to go back to this hotel again. Not really far from Galway. "

"It was a beautiful setting it had fantastic potential but here’s a list of the faults. Self check in system (room door unlocked key in room) another guest had checked into room we had booked. The room had a different number on the door to what it was (there was a number one on the door frame number 2 on the door) We had booked a ensuite bathroom but on the first night only had access to a shared bathroom with no hot water, no toilet paper (had to search the house to find it), blocked sink. Sent message to manager, no response until the next morning. Guest who was in our allocated room moved out the next morning, so we moved into our allocated room as the ensuite bathroom had hot water, it was dirty, we had to find fresh linen and clean up as best we could. No gas for cooking. Air fryer had wrong plug so couldn’t use. The property was quite difficult to find, no signs on the gate."

"This property is a perfect stop in Athlone. It is easy to walk into the city centre and the parking was very convenient. There is also a lovely breakfast available at the hotel."
