"We had a wonderful and cozy stay at this chalet during foliage season. It was just a few miles up off the main route and drivable to many small surrounding towns. We spent much of our time relaxing in this cozy spot with a spacious kitchen/dining area, 2 living rooms and 3 bedrooms. We even spent time at night enjoying the stars on a clear night. I highly recommend this gem and would definitely come again."

"Love this property and it works so well for friends and family to drop in or stay overnight. Everyone has their own bedroom/bathroom. The fenced in yard is great for our dog and she loves exploring by the river. We spend most of our time in the sunroom or at the diningroom table doing puzzles, playing cards or board games."

"Our group of four adults stayed at the Wishing Well during a holiday weekend for a wedding. The cottage was incredibly clean, spacious, and well appointed. Nothing was overlooked. We appreciated the comfortable beds and enjoyed having coffee/tea on the deck each morning and chatting about our activities around the fire pit at night. The Wishing Well is within walking distance of a fantastic general store with delicious food and Jamaica State park. We enjoyed several walks and runs in the park. The hosts communicated well about procedures (ie check in and out) and quickly responded to a query via text. We had a wonderful stay and would certainly come back!"

"The house was beautiful. It was easy to find and the host gave very helpful directions for entering the driveway/property. It was the perfect size for my husband, 2 kids, and I plus we were very happy to find some a nice home that was dog friendly. We like to cook most meals at the house when we are away and this home had plenty of everything needed. The only furniture that might have been helpful was a coffee table, but we brough the little patio table inside and that worked perfectly. The rooms were nice, no dressers but plenty of hangers, and space above to lay folded clothes. The only negative thing I can say is that when we arrived, we found an empty container of the spa cleaner. The main attraction for our mini vacation was the hot tub and we had planned to be in it quite a bit. I messaged the host and he told me not to worry about it, but by the next to last day the water was pretty filthy and we didn’t enjoy the hot tub. But it was very enjoyable up until then. Otherwise it was a very relaxing experience at the house, and we were close to all of the nearby towns, spending the most time in Manchester. The house was also near a great supermarket, and we enjoyed dinner at The New American Grille, and had the absolute best breakfast at Maple Leaf Diner. We had a great stay, highly recommend this house."
