"I gave this hotel 3 stars purely because of it's inconvenient location, otherwise the hotel was a very good budget stop-over, typical of French motels, clean and well maintained with secure on-site parking. The lady on reception was super-nice, very helpful with good English. This is definitely not a tourist hotel due to it's location. "If it was not for the idyllic countryside location of the property, it's grounds, facilities and beautifully appointed accommodation then it was the wonderful hosts who made our short stay a delight accommodating all our family needs. Thank you Alison and Nick (and Oscar & Ruby, sorry we didn't leave you any breakfast leftovers, it was too yummy!)."

"This place is run by an older French couple, who did not speak much English (nor did we speak much French), but they were brilliant and warm the whole time. Free parking right by the place, pretty easy to find as long as you have a working SatNav/GPS. Would recommend this place."

"The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Very efficient heating in the room. Food was great. The only ‘down’ was the room smelt of disinfectant with a Lino floor. Almost felt like a hospital?"
