"It doesn't have a pool. It doesn't have a complimentary breakfast. It doesn't have a crystal chandelier above the bathtub. What it DOES have is clean, well maintained rooms and friendly owners/staff! This place reminds me of the best of the motels I stayed at travelling cross country in the 70's and 80's. And the price is great too! If you're travelling near Bald Knob, this is where you should stay! (And do the breakfast buffet at Farmer's Market) "

"My wife and I stayed the weekend at this house perched above the Little Red River with a gorgeous view of the water below. The property is well-maintained and clean: updated with all the modern amenities without diminishing from the "lake cabin" vibe. Booking, check-in, and communication with the owners/managers was smooth, prompt, and easy. We really loved the place, and are so glad that we were able to be there. so PEACEFUL AND FUN!!!p.s. fishing from the large, well-furnished dock/pier was AWESOME- I caught some brown trout and some rainbow trout. I brought some of them home to Memphis with us and had them for supper as we looked back on a enjoyable weekend. "

"The facility and guest room were clean and well-maintained. Everything worked! Staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was comfortable except the pillows which were too small, and I am not a fan of pet-friendly in the context of lodging facilities. "
