Beautiful ocean view home on amazing Bald Head Island

Fantastic to wake up in the morning and look out over the Atlantic. Reverse floor plans home with 2 br, both with private baths, on lower lever. Master br has a private porch with a swing to enjoy a lazy afternoon. Second br has bunk beds plus a queen bed too accommodate up to 4 guests. Upper level with kitchen, dining area and living room. Enjoy the great ocean views. Easy walking distance to the ocean. I have memberships in both the Shoals and BHI clubs so a temporary membership is available to purchase for either. There are 2 four seat golf carts for your use. Not a better place to relax on the island

Perfect BHI Location

Loved Sail 4 Fun!

What a great place to stay. We have been coming to BGI for a number of years and this home is perfect for the two pf us. Great location, wonderful home and relaxing ocean view. We will be staying here again :)

Beautiful home with an ocean view !

Nice home with comfy beds . Great room is awesome . Kitchen is very well equipped. Both golf carts are nice . I would definitely stay there again!

Great view, nice sunsets, windy but enjoyable, getting around on golf carts was a blast (no cars), enjoyed conservancy park(s), admired natural island preservation, house was clean, bedding comfortable, kitchen had good utensils, fun.

Fantastic getaway in a great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property is well equipped and a very short walk to the beach. We especially enjoyed the views from the upper deck. We will definitely be back!

Great view and location

We loved having breakfast on the upstairs porch overlooking the ocean. House and carts were in good condition and everything was clean. Short ride to the market and short walk to the beach.

Beautiful Home in Perfect Location

The home was perfect for our small family! We spent long days at the Shoals Club and also enjoyed being able to walk to the beach in the evenings. The Shibumi shade was much appreciated - it worked better than the umbrellas at the club. We saw details of the full moon from the deck with the telescope and loved the expansive view of the ocean from the living room and deck. We’d like to stay again!

Cute place close to the beach

This is a cute 2 bedroom house, right across from South Beach. There is a view of the ocean from the living room. It has recently been renovated, and is a very nice place to stay.

Wonderful week

Carol's house was perfect for the three of us and there's plenty of space for more. Very nice bedrooms and baths, great ocean views, close to the beach, and a generously sized main room and kitchen, which was super comfortable when family (from all over US) staying in other houses stopped by. Loved the top deck for coffee in the morning and drinks at night. Excellent communication and our travel went well smoothly too -- happy about all!

Great week at the beach

Convenient location; short walk to the beach but great views on south beach at BHI. No bad surprises. Very comfortable. Know that there are 3 levels so lots of stairs.

Anniversary trip

Wonderful experience! House as advertised, views better than pictures. The house sits up on a hill providing sweeping view of the ocean, albeit over and between rooftops. Host was quick to respond to questions and very good to work with. This house is perfect for a small family or couple. Will definitely rent again.

We had such a wonderful stay on BHI. This property is the perfect spot as it is centrally located plus only a short walk to the beautiful beach. Views are gorgeous and everything in the house is as advertised. When we needed to communicate with the owner the response was swift and all was taken care of immediately. Highly recommend!

Perfect size, great location

A lot of the places on or near south beach are just too much house for a small family of three or four, but the Sail4Fun is the perfect size (could easily accommodate two adults and 3 children) and is in a fantastic location. The ocean views from both levels are great and the beach access is literally a few steps across the wynd. We had a great stay. The “older” golf cart with the higher tires has some good pep, too, which is a nice bonus.

Couples trip

We have been coming to BHI for over 35 years. We sold our house and have been staying at different properties on the island. This house was one of our favorites! It was decorated great and the kitchen was stocked. 2 carts was helpful to have and we really enjoyed the view. House is great for couples or even 2-3 couples. We hope to stay here again!

Great Week on Bald Head

This was our first trip to BHI. We had a great experience and 8 Killegray Ridge was the perfect place to stay. The house was clean and well appointed. Views from the top deck were fabulous. The kitchen has been updated and was well stocked. Master bath is beautiful. We were not fans of the hard beds but we managed. The proximity to the beach and the market was very good. We would stay here again.

Super house

Clean. Nice view. Enjoyed the hammock. Loved all the bikes. Perfect huge sectional couch for lounging with teenagers to watch movies and do puzzles. The golf cart that we were able to use was new but very sluggish. Mattress in master bedroom could stand an upgrade. Not the most comfortable one I’ve ever slept on. Would definitely return.

Charming House!

We had a great time at this adorable house. The location is great. Close to East Beach/Mikes Bites, and close to the market and restaurants. The golf carts were in great condition and there were boogie boards and toys for the kids. It’s small, but we didn’t any more room for our family. Aldo’s clean and decorated nicely. Only negative I can say is that there weren’t extra sheets, which are nice when traveling with kids. Sand in sheets is no fun! We definitely want to book again!

Fantastic home in a beautiful location

We have been coming to the island for 20 years now, and this is one of the few houses we’ve stayed at that we would have no hesitations about returning to. The house was clean, outfitted well, and the layout was perfect for a small family. The furniture and decor were proportioned well and took advantage of the space. This never happens, but somehow, the view was actually better and more beautiful than the photos suggest. The owner was extremely communicative and responded immediately. Thanks for everything!

Perfect beach house for family of 4

We love Bald Head Island, and the Sail4Fun house checks all the boxes: ocean view from the living area (reverse floor plan with open living area on upper floor), short walk across the road to beach access, enough space for our family of 4 without paying for a huge house we don’t need. This may be one of only a few smaller houses so near to the ocean. I felt comfortable letting my 12 and 9 yr old kids walk to the beach themselves and gaining some independence. We love that the house comes with 2 golf carts and 4 adult bikes. Kitchen is well -stocked and we cooked most meals at the house.

Not good enough

Good location and overall nice design. However, the bed was very uncomfortable, the pillows were cheap and lumpy, and the floor left our feet or socks dirty after ten minutes. The door lock required an arm wrestle to open every time. We were subjected to a claim against our insurance coverage for damages to the golf cart we didn’t even drive. We won’t be back!

Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway for Families!

Our Thanksgiving stay at your Bald Head Island house was absolutely wonderful! The kids especially adored the bunk bed room, which became their own little haven. The ocean view from the house was simply breathtaking, providing a constant source of entertainment and relaxation. The house itself was spotless and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. All the amenities were in excellent condition and met all our needs. The only minor suggestion I would offer is that upgrading the cookware would be a great improvement. Overall, we had a truly magical Thanksgiving experience at your home. The kids had so much fun exploring the island, and we all enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the setting. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! Highlights: Perfect for families with kids (especially the bunk bed room!) Perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay. Carol was great at communicating and made sure we had beach towels at our request. The house is beautiful and well equipped and evenings on the upper porch watching the water at twilight were wonderful. We cook a lot and make our favorite meals on vacation. The kitchen had almost everything we needed, except for measuring cups. If you’re cooking or baking, maybe bring some with you. Otherwise, we found everything from cheese graters to bottle openers. For my wife and I, the master bed was a bit hard and we didn’t get the best sleep. We made up for that with afternoon naps on the plush and comfy sofa and relaxing at the beach which is a quick 5 minute walk away. The provided beach chairs were wonderful. Carol even had bottles of sunscreen available for us. We were really pleased with Sail 4 Fun. We’ve stayed in a lot of places on BHI and this one was great. Perfectly situated for easy walks over to the beach every day and cozy and comfortable after a long day in the sun!
