"Proximity for my stay"

"We did not order anything from the menu so cannot comment on that. However the condition of the rooms, size of the rooms for 3 adults was wonderful. Great kitchen with frypan, pots and a small oven/hotplate unit for cooking. Each unit has a small private outdoor table and chair set. There is a free laundry which was great as we had small children. There is a children's play area, beautiful grounds and the place was so handy to the airport and the northern part of Christchurch. Staff super helpful and we will stay again when we come back to Christchurch. Thank you Northwood Motorlodge for a wonderful stay. Regards, John"

"This was an older motel with a (just) 3-stars well deserved. Positive: Lots of spotless clean towels and a brilliant shower. Negative: I would expect a sheets change at least once in a 9-day stay, and the floor vacuumed more than once in 9 days."

"The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. It was nice to have kitchen facilities to cook a meal when I did not feel like going out for dinner. Pak'nSave grocery across the street to easily get what I needed. I will definitely stay there again on a return trip."
