"When I first saw this place on VRBO I was excited, being a former pastor. The host was very nice and flexible with us when our arrival time was delayed. However, we both felt a little uneasy. The walkway back to the entrance is a little odd. I wouldn't have wanted to walk it after dark. It's hard to put a finger on, but I just couldn't completely relax. "I was a little bit skeptical at first: the property is reached by a one lane road, off a small two lane road, off a regional road. Typical Scotland. Yet, once there, it was magnificent. The cottage was adjacent to two cottages and next to small bio domes which seemed interesting to stay also. "Great house in the middle of the fields. You have everything you need. We didn’t use kitchen tools but it seemed to be fool. we used the fireplace as an attraction although it was not so cold these days it was great for an evening together. the bed is uncomfortable with a spring mattress. the sewerage and ventilation in the shower worked poorly. 10/10 for accommodation atmosphere and cleanliness."
