"A stunning family-run guesthouse with beautiful pool set in lush gardens. The food is exceptional, authentically Sri Lankan and the best I have eaten in Sri Lanka. Several languages are spoken and the owners so helpful in arranging any help needed ; communications and guidance are very good. I did not want to leave this oasis of relaxation and hope to return. "Paid online. No one was there when we went to check in. Dogs growling at us viciously. We were forced to leave and find another place to stay. Still waiting to get our money back. I don't think that will happen as we have waited 4 days for a response to or email. Don't waste your money or time on this place. It states is 200 metres from centre of galle but its at least a 5000 rupee tuk tuk to get anywhere near galle city centre. Terrible experience, waste of my money."

"Very nice guest house (b&b) about 25 mins walk or 5 mins by tuk tuk from centre of Galle. The hosts couldn’t be nicer or more helpful and even offered us lifts to town. Sri Lankan or English breakfasts were great. Very clean house with delightful garden in a real Sri Lankan setting. Be aware though, no hot water for showers. Overall terrific value for money."
